Every coat is hand-sprayed by someone who's been trained on the product. We don't use casuals. We don't subcontract. The person who quoted is the person who sprayed.
The studio
Two homeowners. One studio.
Refinishing Studio was started by Mitch and Partner in 2024, after spending too much time quoting bad work on their own homes. They trained, bought the kit, and decided to do it themselves. Now they do it for other people, the same way.
Why
We don't replace. We refinish.
There's a reason your front door, your windows, your kitchen still work. They were built well, and they've stayed straight. The colour's tired, the foil's lifting, the white's gone yellow. That's a finish problem, not a frame problem. We fix the finish.
A whole-house UPVC respray costs less than 10% of replacement. A kitchen respray costs less than a fifth of a new kitchen. And the work we apply lasts longer than what came on it from the factory.
Standards
Three things we hold to.
Transparency
Small booking deposit to hold your date in the calendar. The balance you pay when the work's done and signed off. Itemised quote, no hidden line items, no day-rate fudge. You see the product names, the coat count, the warranty terms. Then you decide.
Finish quality
If a coat goes wrong, we strip it and start again. It happens, rarely, and you don't see the work that didn't make it. That's the standard.
