Projects start with a site survey or a review of drawings, photographs and a finish schedule. We confirm the substrate, access, masking, programme and coating documentation before issuing a scoped quotation.
Preparation and delivery
How we approach the work
We clean and prepare accessible faces, protect motors, tracks, seals and contact points, and agree the coating and curing window. Shutters must be isolated or operated under a safe site plan; coated areas are inspected for clearance before handover.
What the survey needs to establish
Spraying does not repair a defective mechanism or damaged slats. Critical moving interfaces may need to remain uncoated, and the selected finish must suit the shutter material.
We agree site-specific method statements, risk assessments and COSHH information for the selected products with the site team. Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets can be reviewed as part of the specification. Access, working at height and operator competency are confirmed for each job.

Will the shutter still open after spraying?
The scope keeps moving and contact areas under review; final operation is checked at handover. Mechanical faults need a shutter specialist.
Can you spray the housing too?
Usually where its condition, access and substrate permit. We include it explicitly in the survey and quote.
