How we quote

Every job is different. Every quote is in person.

We don't list fixed prices. The number of frames, the condition of the existing finish, the colour, the access, the time of year, they all move the figure. A real quote needs eyes on the job. That's a free, no-pressure survey, and we give a firm written number inside forty-eight hours.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

  1. Send photos and a postcode

Use the contact form or email us. A few photos of the frames or kitchen, your postcode, and a one-line note of what you're after. We reply inside thirty minutes during business hours.

  2. Free on-site survey

We come to you. Measure, photograph properly, talk colour, talk timing. No sales pitch, no high-pressure quote-on-the-doorstep. Half an hour, then we leave.

  3. Written quote inside 48 hours

Itemised. Materials, prep, primer, coats, clean-up, all listed. The warranty terms in writing. No day rates, no hidden line items. The number you see is the number you pay.

  4. Work, sign-off, then pay

A small deposit books your date in the calendar. The balance you pay once the work is done and you've walked the job with us. If it isn't right, we put it right before the final invoice.

What moves the number

The three things every quote pivots on.

Surface area

The dominant factor on UPVC. A two-bed terrace has a fraction of the frame count of a four-bed detached with a conservatory. We measure every panel, every fascia, every door.

Condition of the existing finish

Sun-bleached, chalky, oxidised UPVC needs extra sanding. Plastic-foiled kitchen doors with lifting foil need careful judgement. Some jobs we turn down rather than do a half-job.

Colour and finish complexity

One colour, one finish is the standard. Two colours, two finishes, an island in a contrasting tone, custom RAL matched on-site, all small additions, all itemised on the quote.

What every quote includes

No upsells, no surprises.

FAQ

Quoting, answered.

Short, honest answers. If we've missed yours, we'll reply in thirty minutes.

How long does a respray last?
Five years guaranteed. In practice, a properly prepped and sprayed Kolorbond finish on UPVC outlasts the frame itself. Our kitchen 2K lacquer is rated for ten years in domestic use.
Do you take a deposit?
A small booking deposit secures your date in the calendar. The balance is due once the work's done and you've signed it off. No big upfronts, no day-rate fudge.
Will the paint peel or chip?
Not if it's prepped right. Adhesion failure comes from skipped degreasing and skipped sanding. We do both, properly, every time. That's why we can offer five years guaranteed.
Can you match my existing colour?
Yes. Any RAL, any BS, any Farrow and Ball. We colour-match on-site from a sample if you don't have a code.
Is the work guaranteed?
Five years on UPVC. Ten years on kitchen lacquer. Fully transferable if you sell the house.
Are you insured?
Yes. £5m public liability with Tradesman Saver. Documentation provided before any job starts.
