Services
We provide UPVC and kitchen respraying across South Wales. The full description of the work to be carried out is set out in the written quote we provide after our survey. That quote, together with these terms, forms the agreement between us.
Quotation and survey
- Surveys are free and carry no obligation.
- Written quotes are valid for 30 days from issue.
- Quotes are based on the condition of the existing finish observed at survey. We reserve the right to revise the price if work begins and substantial additional preparation is needed that wasn't visible at survey.
Booking, deposit, and payment
- A small booking deposit secures your date in our calendar. The deposit amount is stated on your written quote.
- The balance is due on completion, once the work has been signed off in person.
- We accept bank transfer. Card payments are available on request.
- Interest at the statutory rate may be charged on overdue invoices in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Warranty
- UPVC respraying carries a written 5-year warranty against adhesion failure, peeling, flaking, and significant colour shift.
- Kitchen respraying carries a written 10-year warranty on the same basis.
- Warranties are transferable to the next owner if you sell the property.
- Warranties exclude damage from impact, intentional defacement, misuse of harsh solvents on the finish, and acts of God.

Cancellation
- You may cancel up to 14 days before the booked start date for a full deposit refund.
- Cancellations inside 14 days forfeit the deposit (the work has been planned and other jobs declined to hold your slot).
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if weather conditions make a quality finish impossible.
Our obligations
- We will carry out the work with reasonable skill and care, using the products and methods stated in the quote.
- We hold £5m public liability insurance throughout.
- We will protect adjacent surfaces, glass, and hardware during the work and clean the site on completion.
Your obligations
- Provide reasonable access to the property and parking within a sensible distance.
- Ensure any prerequisites we've identified (e.g. removing curtains, clearing windowsills) are done before we arrive.
- Pay the balance promptly on completion.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the work is limited to the price paid for the work. We accept no liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Disputes
If you have a complaint, contact us first at hello@refinishingstudio.co.uk. We will respond within 7 working days. If the matter cannot be resolved between us, either party may pursue formal mediation before any court proceedings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
