Who we are

What we collect
- Quote form submissions: name, email, phone, postcode, property type, service interest, photos, and any free-text message you send us.
- Analytics (with consent only): anonymised page-view data, device type, referral source. We use this to understand which pages are useful.
- Server logs: IP address and request metadata held by our host for security and debugging.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To schedule a survey and complete any work you book.
- To improve the site (analytics, only if you accept cookies).
Legal basis
We process your data under one of three bases:
- Performance of a contract when you've asked us to quote for or carry out work.
- Legitimate interest for security, fraud prevention, and basic site administration.
- Consent for analytics cookies and marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries that don't convert: deleted after 12 months.
- Customer records for completed work: kept for 7 years (HMRC and warranty obligations).
- Analytics: anonymised, retained 26 months by Google Analytics.
Who we share it with
- Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Google Analytics processes anonymised usage data (only with your consent).
- HMRC for tax obligations on completed jobs.
- We never sell or rent your data.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold on you.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Withdraw consent for cookies or marketing.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're not happy with how we've handled your data.
