Projects start with a site survey or a review of drawings, photographs and a finish schedule. We confirm the substrate, access, masking, programme and coating documentation before issuing a scoped quotation.
Preparation and delivery
How we approach the work
The survey records substrate, hinges, closers, thresholds, seals and working hours. We protect hardware, prepare sound surfaces and sequence coats so doors can return to use after the specified curing period.
What the survey needs to establish
Fire-rated doors and assemblies need special care: decoration must not alter certification, labels, seals or clearances. We do not claim that a decorative respray changes a fire rating.
We agree site-specific method statements, risk assessments and COSHH information for the selected products with the site team. Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets can be reviewed as part of the specification. Access, working at height and operator competency are confirmed for each job.

Can you spray fire doors?
Only after the specification and manufacturer or competent fire-door advice confirm the proposed treatment is permissible.
Can hardware be sprayed?
We normally mask or remove hardware as agreed; replacement or specialist door repairs are separately scoped.
