Commercial steelwork spraying
Refinish visible steel members, frames and features where a decorative or specified protective topcoat is appropriate. We assess the existing finish, corrosion and exposure before recommending preparation and an approved system.

Projects start with a site survey or a review of drawings, photographs and a finish schedule. We confirm the substrate, access, masking, programme and coating documentation before issuing a scoped quotation.
Preparation and delivery
How we approach the work
The specification depends on the steel condition, existing coating, required environment and site access. We identify contamination and corrosion, agree mechanical preparation and primer needs, then document coating product and film requirements where applicable.
What the survey needs to establish
Intumescent and other fire protection systems are specialist specifications. We do not substitute a decorative coating for fire protection or overcoat a protected member without the relevant approval.
We agree site-specific method statements, risk assessments and COSHH information for the selected products with the site team. Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets can be reviewed as part of the specification. Access, working at height and operator competency are confirmed for each job.

Can you spray rusted steel?
Only after assessing corrosion and preparation needs. Severe deterioration may need repair or a specialist treatment before finishing.
Is this fireproofing?
No. Any fire-resistance requirement needs its own approved specialist specification.
